Mexican painter and sculptor, who also worked in silk-screen printing and computer art. He was the first Mexican artist to practise total abstraction. Felguérez moved frequently between Mexico City and Paris, France. "Returning to Mexico in 1956, he began teaching sculpture at the Escuela de Arte y Dise√±o in the Universidad Iberoamericana and subsequently at the Universidad Nacional Aut√≥noma de Mexico (UNAM)." He died from the coronavirus on June 7, 2020.
